It had been months since she had lost her fiance, though the grief still plagued her. She started to leave the manner more and more every day, though she had some minor set backs when the pirates attacked Port Royal, she had never been more afraid. Further more, she never felt so helpless. Had her fiance been there he could have protected her, though the pirates were called back before they got to her home it was still scary thought. Perhaps, it was time to move on, surely he would have wanted someone to protect her, just didn't seem right.
She wore a simple white gown and a matching bonnet clinched to her side was a little basket filled with flowers and some seashells. She walked along the beach, barely anyone was there this time of day, that was something she preferred. She went to a large flat rock and layed a blanket on it before she sat down. She had come to this spot before, it was fairly private but neigh unreachable. She looked out onto the ships in the distance and wondered what ship Joesph would have had. Her fear was to look up and see the pirate ship that claimed Joesph's life, but yet she came here, in a way hoping to see it, so she can use her dagger on the bastard of a Captain who sailed it. She didn't even care if that Captain was the one responsible for Joesph's death, to her all pirates are the same.

Will walked steadily on the banks of the Caribbean. Wondering what the day might bring him. The sun was out, but seemed to be a crisp cold-front coming Port Royal's way. He heaved a sigh, thinking where Elizabeth might have gone to. Was she back with Norrington? Nah, couldn't be. Will wouldn't pass that through his mind. Although, he stopped and let the cool air greet him. His hair was pulled out of his face with the wind. Will looked around to see an unfamiliar person. So he started to walk nearer. Why was she dangling off a rock..? Ok, to Will it was high because his fear of heights. It was actually pretty funny.

Her light hair blew slightly in the crisp breeze, it was something that reminded her of France. She reached into her basket and moved some of the shells out of the way and picked up a book till she heard a branch snap from behind her, she froze up like a bunny in the middle of the field. Slowly she turned around to see Will, she vaguely recognized him from somewhere. She moved back up and slowly moved so she could get on her feet, oh yes she remembered him, her eyes wide with fear. She could be wrong but she could swear he was the one that helped that filthy pirate escape from the gallows, how can anyone forgot the throw of the sword it was epic. She didn't know he was a black smith, but perhaps he was a pirate himself, " Are you... Are you the one, who helped the pirate escape, from the gallows?" her French accent was thicker then normal since she was very much afraid of him.

Will caught her gaze. "Er, yea hehe.. I guess you could say that" He said rubbing the back of his head. "Were you there?" Will asked turning his head. He started pacing a bit. I wonder who she is... He thought quietly to himself. (Ugh braindead =P plus I just woke up. =]

She was a little surprised when he didn't lie to her, she would think he would have denied it. She was no one of true importance at the event but she liked to attend every pirate hanging, for someone as afraid as she was she certainly spoke bravely when she responded, " I attend every hanging of a filthy pirate. To spit on their faces after they cut them down!" She spit on the ground in the traditional French insult manner. " Why would you save the filth! Unless you are in league with them." She looked down her nose at him for a moment as if looking him over, " If you are a pirate you are a fairly clean one at that. How did you get past the guards?" Her hatred for pirates would always overcome her fear of them, if she was to die by his hands she would wish her last breath to be a curse that god would hear to smite him to hell. She wouldn't expect anyone to know her, she wasn't active in the community and spent the better part of her time in her manner. Also her accent would cleary be the tell that she was not from Port Royal.

Will turned to catch a glimpse of her hatred gaze she had set on him. "He wasn't just a pirate. He was a good man. Thats where my place was between Jack and Norrington" Will said enthusiastically. He wasn't going to let her put down Jack. "And I'm guessing your not from around here?" Will's I squinted at the ground. Do say even if she was from around here she acts like she came from Tortuga..

She had a lot of misplaced, yet understanable hatred towards pirate. "What he do dat was so good? Kill Navy men, who jut want to provide for family? Tuant le seul homme j'ai aimé?" She took a deep breath to calm down, perhaps this man didn't kill her love perhaps he would know who did. " Pardon je, I am not from here no. I am from France; perhaps you knew my husban? Lieutenant Joesph Chase, perhaps you see him?" She took the locket around her neck and opened it, then moved close to will so he could see a small likeness of Joesph on the left side and a small likeness of her on the right, she watched his eyes as he looked, as if searching for some truth within them. " He was killed by pirates, just before he was to become a Commodore. " She knew if Will lived here he might remeber something like that, then she added a small note he may not have remebered but was imporant to her, " Just before he was to marry me." She didn't make a habit of asking everyone on this island about her husban but Will seemed to know pirates, or was one and if she could only find out who murdered her husban she figured she might be able to move on.

The waves broke gently against the sandy shore, foaming up around its fringes before allowing itself to be carried back outward into the sea, back to the point of its beginning, wherever that was to be. There had always been a peace, a contentment in the sea, especially for one like himself who many an officer would jokingly say was born of a union between justice and the sea...Unfortunately for James Norrington however, his previous life, for in his mind his childhood became something separate and distant, that union was proved to be no so gentle despite the justice placed within it.
His gaze, like an emerald in the sun, almost seemed to glimmer with the conflicting emotions that the sea stirred within him, and then, all at once, he'd turned away and continued on down the shore, looking much like a man on a mission when thee was no such mission to be had.
He continued on toward to figures, both becoming more familiar the closer he came to them. The first, Will Turner, he knew quite a good measure better than he would have liked for several reasons and his gaze hardened. He had no desire to deal with mister Turner at this moment, and thus it could have only been the other that, for a time, held him rooted to the spot in mild and abject shock.
The other was a woman, one he'd caught mere glimpses of, but whom he'd never been formally introduced. The wife of a brave and brilliant man one could have said he'd been friends with...if he'd been of a disposition to have many he could consider friends. He saw in her now grief and anger, as though she were reliving that moment, that of the news of Joseph's death and James frowned, his gaze moving to Will and then aback to the woman as he moved closer.
"Miss, is there a problem here?" he asked smoothly, seemingly all business as usual, even as he wondered if she would recognize him from the various ceremonies and parties he'd attended with her husband...It truly was nothing short of a wonder that they'd never been formally introduced.

Will looked down a moment when she started speaking in French. He had no Idea what she was saying, nor did he care much. What he did was done and over. Will's gaze got focused on the *somebody* else who came towards them and started talking away like they didn't even have their own conversation.
The voice seemed oddly familiar apparently it was. James Norrington.. A growl approached in Will's throat. Hatred showed in his eyes. All the more so as he bit his tongue not to say anything.. un-admiralrish.. Well, here it goes Will straightened up his poster and looked toward Norrington.
"Hello Norrington, what might you be doing this fine calm night.." He spoke trying to make no reccolection of just a month ago. It seemed like yesterday though to Will. How him and Jack Sparrow fought side by side together. The night was calm anyways.. Till Mister Know-It-All Appeared Will seized a small chuckle. Hoping Norrington didn't see it.

She looked to James Norrington, and placed her locket it fell back to her chest and she gave him a elegant bow, had she been younger she would swoon over such a man, but revenge and grief was still holding her back from moving on. When she received the news about her husband it took 4 women to aid in containing her grief, it was in her very nature to have such passion. When he approached she felt much safer, all and all she was still afraid of Will, " Admiral, It is fine now that you are here. I was asking him, if he knew my husband; Or knew the pirates who killed him, I assume as much that he is a pirate as well, no?" She really wasn't sure about that, but remembered Will from Jack's hanging. Jahnia may not have been much for social, but she went to every promotions out of sheer habit, and attend many ceremonies in her husband's place. The thing she was always present for was the hanging of a pirate.

" Admiral, It is fine now that you are here. I was asking him, if he knew my husband; Or knew the pirates who killed him, I assume as much that he is a pirate as well, no?"
The words were familiar, like something he'd heard before, and the weight of duty he felt had now returned in full..yet it as something he'd been born and bred for, this duty of his, that of the just, the pirate hunters. And no matter how low he'd sunk during the time of his near breaking, his return had been a glorious one, a full one...he was back.
To her words he nodded in understanding. "You might say that I suppose, like his father before him; yet more suited for a blacksmith's craft than the open sea." Will had done nothing that Norrington would call him out on in public, for their feud was a personal one..one meant for the ears of those involved only. "And as for your husband," his expression near reached a frown, yet it was stayed, he seemed pensive..and then nodded as if in answer to something; he'd placed her. "You're Jospeh's widow," it was a statement more than it was the question that it should have been in all politeness. "He was a good man."

Will looked puzzled, confusion followed him. He.. didn't say anything about.. Nah, nevermind. He'll probably say something in the end of the conversation.. Maybe not?. That's not like him though. Maybe he actually gained some dignity, which reminds me I've been waiting along time to say this to him.. Will thought quietly to himself paying no attention to them as he plotted the perfect way to say this.
He stood straight up now eyeing the admiral. "So, James..How's life been treating you?" He acted kindly, though revenge lurked in the back of his mind. Will's eyes crossed as he saw the women bow to Norrington. Haha, Norry the little suck up is probably enjoying this.. "James, not to be a prude and interrupt your little conversation.. but you dropped something." Will tried his hardest not to laugh and looked down to the sandy beach.

Lady Jahnia,
She rolled her eyes when Norry said Will was a blacksmith but his father was a pirate, she cringed her nose in a cute manner, " I thought I spelled filth on him, after all, he did help." She waved her hand in the air as she tried to remember the name, " De Jake Sparrow? I thought it vus just from touching hem." She looked back to Will, perhaps him being here meant that more pirates are about, like roaches. She was completely ignoring Will as soon as she found out she outranked him, " Yes, Joseph and I, were going to get married, sadly never did. " She only said that cause technically she wasn't a widow, and because of that little circumstance she had to fight to get his title and keep the estate, lucky for her, her father knew the right people. Then in regaurds to his last statment" Thank-you for that, in his last letter he had you listed as one of his best-men." She said with a small smile, she wouldn't tell Norry that he was one of the ten men listed but being considered. Although she was curious about Will, she felt more comfortable with Norry. She raised a slender brow wondering what Will was getting at, as she did not notice Norry drop anything.

He shook his head in regards to her thanks. "There is no need to thank me for stating the obvious and inherent truth...there truly wasn't a better man to sail with than your Joseph," he told her, smiling a bit at the fond memory that arose in his mind, even as he did not wish to trouble you. Thus, to keep from furthering the conversation he turned his attention to will as the young blacksmith spoke.
"So, James..How's life been treating you?" The words were of a surprisingly friendly nature, yet the use of his first name made him narrow his eyes into glare. "It has been treating me as well as can be imagine given the circumstance Mr.Turner," he said in rather coldly reply, stressing the formal title with which he spoke so as to clue the other in on the fact that he did not and likely never would consider the other one who should be speaking to him on a first name basis as he had.
"James, not to be a prude and interrupt your little conversation.. but you dropped something."
He raised an eyebrow in mocking amusement at the misuse of the word prude an shook his head. "I neither felt nor heard anything fall Turner...what are you going on about?"

"Your, Dignity..You dropped your dignity" Will grinned as he laughed. When HE was finally finished wILL pulled out a flask from his pocket and started drinking some rum from the nozzle. The taste was so sensational. "Ahem, anyways now that I got a good joke out of James what was your husband? A Partner with Norry?" Will taunted James. (rotfl sorry i just wanted to say that im braindead plus im listening to Brad Paisley)
