Name:Charlotte (Charlie, Charles... read further for reasons) Emma Andarton
Rank: Pirate
Age:16
Gender: Female
Personality: Charlotte's temper is as fiery as her ginger hair. She inherited her father's outspoken attitude and she has problems controlling it. It's always a pain to her because she wants to remain inconspicuous and she's constantly afraid that someone will find her out and she will meet the same fate as her father. She is sly and cunning and tricks others easily.
Physical Description: Charlotte used to have a long sheet of red hair that extended to the small of her back, these days it's kept no longer than the nape of her neck to give her the appearance of a boy. She is tall and lanky and never developed much in the chest area. Her bright green eyes can betray her femininity at times but she tries to hide them from view with a broad-brimmed tri-corn.
She wears the usual male clothing, brown breeches with customarily dirty tights beneath, her buckle shoes are never polished, a forest green doublet over a white shirt, and a large black tri-corn hat that hides her face rather well finish her look. A seashell necklace on a emerald ribbon is the only thing she has left of her father. She also carries a cutlass at her side at all times.
History: Charlotte was abandoned on Tortuga as a baby and was found by Captain William Andarton, a pirate captain who fancied himself a father. He was more learned than most pirates and he read her lots of books but he also taught her the essentials of piracy, dueling and swordplay and navigation. He would take her on his ship and together they would sail the Caribbean exploring every cave and island. He raised her well but two days after her twelfth birthday, he fell victim to the hangman's noose, a product of his piracy and outspoken protests against the government. For two years, Charlotte barely survived, trying unsuccessfully to land a spot on a ship. Each captain told her they would not hire girls and it wasn't long before she realized that dressing as a boy was her only chance. For two years now, she has acted a boy, and is very believable at it. Not a soul has guessed her true identity thus far, and with her masculine swagger and Yorkshire speech, not a soul will.
Strengths: Swordplay, cunning, courage, outspokenness, determination, acting, navigation
Weaknesses: Keeping her mouth shut, a hot temper
Other: When dressed as a boy she is known as Charles or Charlie.
